Arome Bakery 東海堂 Spring Special <熊本縣• 草莓三色>. Spring is coming soon and it is a perfect time to eat something refreshing. Spring represents birth and growth, but to me it sort of represents freshness of … everything! That applies to all sorts of fruits including strawberries! 
Thanks to she.com and Arome Bakery, I got the chance to have a preview of the new and upcoming Japanese Strawberry Trio <熊本縣• 草莓三色>.
The set was very pretty and the strawberries obviously took the center of the stage. Starting from the left is the souffle cheese cake with a whole strawberry center. In terms of flavors, the souffle cheese cake carries a rather rich cheese flavors. Soft in texture as expected, it should be consumed within 1 hour from purchase. Although quite rich, the lightness and sweetness of the strawberries balanced the flavor quite well. The middle is the Strawberry Dacquoise with custard which I found to be quite light perhaps because I started from the richer item. What I do like is the few more strawberries on top!
And last but not least is the Strawberry Mousse and Jello! The catchy part of this has to be the semi-transparent bottom that allow you to see through the thing and see how they housed a while strawberry inside. Not only was it nice to look it, it is quite fun to have the difference texture by the spoonful. I would suggest you to start from the right with the Strawberry Mousse and Jello and work your way to the cheese cake to ensure the flavors are well planned for your tasting.
