雖然德興唔係因為佢特別好食 (d野食都唔差既), 但係勝在夠近我地飲野既地方!  咁樣又過左一年喇.  希望黎緊呢年仲精彩啦!

(English:  Even though I wouldn’t call Tak Hing the best for hot pot (well, it’s not the worst as well), it’s very close to where we went drinking later that night!  Well a year passed in a jiffy!  Hopefully the coming year is even better!)

呢隻我好有興趣想試, 但係我係有少少乾紋, wrinkles我就無乜 (thank God).  咁行過Kiehl’s, Mr. Honey話佢好有興趣 (佢多d wrinkles ma), 我就叫佢買黎試下, 等我又可以用下.  呢個佢用一陣之後我會代筆寫, 我諗佢用應該可以見到個effect真係勁唔勁.

(English:  I’m indeed very interested in it even though I don’t have wrinkles (some fine line due to dryness instead – thank God!).  When we passed by, Mr Honey was like, “ohhh… that’s interesting…I would love to try that!” (hmmm…he has more wrinkles than me!!)  Being a skincare freak, I urged him to get it (yea…and I could use it myself as well).  I’ll wait for him to try for maybe a few weeks and decide if it promises what it says.  I will write on his behalf on this!)

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

我成日聽話Guerlain隻Midnight Secret好正, 但係我就未試到佢.  而家Kiehl’s又出左隻話夜晚用黎修護皮膚既野, 唔係好貴就心痕想試.  試過上手感覺唔太油, 所以買左黎用.  我開左lu, 暫時用左IPSA Metabolizer之後用, 睇下個效果點就再同大家分享啦.

(English:  I have heard so much about Guerlain Midnight Secret but it’s not on the top of my wish list, so I haven’t given it a go so far!  Right now, Kiehl’s has this new release of night time skin recovery item and the price is not too killing, I am very tempted to give it a shot.  I tried on the back of my hand and found that it wasn’t too oily, so I brought it home with me.  I just started using it after applying IPSA Metabolizer.  I will observe its effects for a couple weeks and will definitely post a piece on this!)

上年9月去過Laura Mercier敗粉底 (回顧按此), 其中一隻成為我既大愛 (回顧按此), 但係另一隻就無咁幸運喇.  初初我用個陣都覺得唔錯, 但係用左幾日我發現左一d佢既缺點.  之後我就用下停下咁…唔覺唔覺都用左幾個月, 不如今日就同大家share下我既comments啦:

(English:  Last September, I hauled some Laura Mercier foundation back home (refresh memory), one of those became my favourite (refresh memory), but for the other one, its fate wasn’t the same.  At first when I started using it, I thought it was nice, however, after a few days of trial, I discovered some main defects.  After that, I use it spontaneously… well, it’s been a few months now and let me share my comments with you:

Laura Mercier Mineral Powder SPF 15

用 後感:  我之前用過Bare Ecentuals, 都係比較出名既礦物粉底.  但係香港無得買, 上網買又好難揀色, 所以唯有買香港買得到既礦物粉底啦.  呢隻野我見都好多人讚好, 所以我就買黎試下.  初初用覺得佢上面都算薄 (但係我記得Bare Ecentuals仲薄) 同好貼. 搽左佢之後會覺得皮膚好有光澤.  佢既遮暇力都唔錯, 遮到鼻位d紅, 同埋黑眼圈都遮到70%.  本身都覺得唔錯ga.  點知, 用用下我發現我用左呢隻foundation之後下午會出多左油, 同埋個foundation到3pm會變暗.  我諗可能因為當時天氣好熱, 所以會有d咁既情況, 所以我停左用佢.  呢期比較冬同埋乾, 我再拎出黎用, 我覺得變暗既情況無咁犀利, 但係都有.  之前佢會變暗兩度色 (好恐怖), 而家就變暗一度到啦.  出油既情況就無之前咁勁 (而家我乾到用咩都唔會出油).  咁我無理由浪費左jar野, 所以而家係返mama屋企食飯就用下佢 (去mama屋企我唔會full makeup, 多數都淨係用下粉底).  希望快d用完佢就算.  可惜丫, 其實我幾鍾意佢上面個effect, 但係會變暗我就真係接受唔到喇.  如果你地要買, 真係係counter試完行成日先再決定佢適唔適合你呀!

(English:  After-use Comment:  I used Bare Ecentuals a couple years back and it was one of the most famous mineral brand.  But I couldn’t get it in Hong Kong and it would be hard for me to pick the right colors online, therefore, I decided to try something local.  I read quite a few rave comments about this mineral powder from Laura Mercier and decided to give it a go.  At first, I felt the foundation was light on skin (but Bare Ecentuals’ are even lighter) and it stayed close to skin.  After applying this foundation, I found my skin more radiant.  Also, its coverage was quite nice, it covered the red areas of my nose really well and for dark eye circles, I thought it covered up to 70% of them.  So far so good right?  Nah!!!!!  After a few days of compliment on this product, I started noticing my skin secreted way more oil in the afternoon and the foundation oxidized (turns to a dark shade) at around 3pm.  Well, then I blamed on the weather (it was hot and humid at that time), so I stopped using it for a few months.  Now, since the weather is cold and dry, I took it out again and gave it a second chance.  The way it oxidized becomes less serious.  It turned two shades darker during the summer time (horrible!!), and now it turns one shade dark.  And my skin doesn’t secrete any oil in the afternoon (well….this is due to the fact that my skin is so dry now, nothing can create oil on my skin).  In order not to waste this item, I use it whenever I go back to mom’s place for dinner (usually I won’t have full makeup, I just have the foundation on and that’s it).  I hope to finish this thing real soon!!   What a pity!  I indeed love how it looks on my skin, but I cannot accept foundations that oxidize!  So, if you want to get this, make sure you try it on your face at the counter, and walk around for the whole day before making your decision!)

我真係失憶!  我一路都以為自己同大家share左以下呢隻sheet mask, 但係諗諗下又睇睇下發覺原來我咩都未講 (一定係我發夢寫左).  我之前同大家分享過我其中一隻彩豐行sheet mask, 我話佢都好, 不過有隻仲好 (回顧按此)!  咁係邊隻呢?  就係呢隻喇:

一打開真係超多精華, 塊布有係有少少透明, 成張mask都有好豐富既精華, 但係唔會滴野!  可以等皮膚慢慢吸收之餘, 又唔會整到周到都係.  唔錯 !

(English:  When you first open the package, you’d see there is a lot of essence inside.  The cloth is a bit transparent and filled with rich essence.  When you use it on face, it won’t drip (so don’t worry).  Your skin can take time in absorbing the essence without making everywhere messy!  Thumbs-up!)

用 後感:  唔覺唔覺都用過好多sheet mask, 但係呢隻令我超級滿意.  頭先講過啦, 佢張mask真係好多精華, 多既程度係比得上SKII既Treatment Mask (用過你就明我講咩喇).  再加上佢個剪綵好貼面, 所以敷起上黎個感覺好舒服, 唔會話成日擔心張mask移位.  佢雖然精華多, 但係皮膚真係吸到.  我通常敷15mins就去過水.  我一過完水個感覺好似另一個人.  面色好左啦 (唔係白左, 但係d黃氣無sa), d毛孔無咁覺眼啦, 皮膚又變得柔軟左同埋滑左啦.  最重要當然係佢好保濕, 第二日都keep到, 同埋上妝覺得貼左同面無咩出油.  佢個effect都last到3-4日, 所以真係十個讚.  咁同埋佢都平民, 所以買同用都唔會令自己有心臟病!  我而家覺得自己好殘呀, 好乾呀都會敷佢!  呢隻我回購指數係100%!  我好少讚d野讚得咁好, 你地應該可以想像我有幾滿意啦 (我上次買得唔夠多, 而家計畫回購當中).

(English:  After-use Comment:  Well I have actually tried quite a few of sheet masks in my lifetime and I can say that this one really impress me!  As mentioned earlier, the cloth is filled with rich essence and the amount is even comparable to SKII Treatment Mask (if you have used SKII before, you’d know what I am trying to say).  Plus, the cutting of the cloth fits face perfectly, so when you actually feel comfortable when you are using it without worrying the mask would be moving around on your face.  Even though it’s filled with tons of essence, the essence does get absorbed by skin.  I usually rinse my face after 15 mins and I feel like I am another person after.  It helps brightening up my face (not whiten, it kicks away the dullness on your skin for you), making my pores less visable, softening and smoothing my skin.  Of course, the most important thing, it’s really hydrating coz on the next day when I put makeup on, I feel that the makeup stays closer and better on my skin and I don’t have much oil secretion.  These amazing effects last around 3-4 days!  Now you are not surprised why I love it so much!  The best part is its price is really friendly, so you won’t have a heart attack each time when you use it or buy it!  Now, I use it whenever I feel that my skin needs a quick fix or very dry!  I am definitely repurchasing it!  I seldom praise something so highly, so you could feel how happy I am to have found this product (well, I didn’t haul enough last time and I am indeed planning on restocking now).
